Beginner's Botox Training Course

This beginners Foundation Day plus e-learning can be completed independently or as part of a combined Botox and Dermal Filler 2 day course with the option of attending on a 3rd day for Universal Lips.

This one day course on site at Facethetics Training teaches you deliver a safe and successful treatment with Botulinum Toxin.  Before attendance, we wish for you to be fully prepared and well informed so that you can take away the best learning experience possible.  We provide comprehensive e-learning that is delivered in a clear format that is interactive and easy to read in preparation for your training.  The complete course is CPD certified.   

You will be able to treat patients and gain insurance on successful completion of the Foundation day. 

What is Botulinum Toxin?

Botulinum Toxin (commonly referred to as Botox®), is a neurotoxin that is used to treat lines and wrinkles on the face which are caused by facial movements such as frowning and smiling.

 

What does a Botox treatment involve?

A very small quantity of Botulinum Toxin is injected directly into the muscles that cause lines using a fine needle. This relaxes the muscle and the skin in the affected area smooths out. Because the muscle is not able to move as much, the treatment also prevents new lines and wrinkles from forming, as well as improving the appearance of existing wrinkles. Results are typically visible 10-14 days after treatment and can last between 3 and 6 months.

Various additional resources are provided that go into considerable detail to assist you with your role as an Aesthetic Practitioner.

An interactive presentation covering all aspects of the treatment, a review of your e-learning, a demonstration and a hands on practical session will take place on the day.

Following the presentation, each delegate will be given time to carry out a full medical consultation with their model, to assess their face, ensuring their suitability for the treatment and that they understand any risks or side effects. Delegates will carry out the treatment on their models under the supervision of our educator. As all of our training courses are limited to small groups, the practical session allows all delegates to observe a wide range of treatment indications and techniques, with ample opportunity for questions, feedback and guidance.

To ensure a structured approach to learning, a maximum of 5 to 6 delegates are permitted on this course enabling you to draw upon expert knowledge of anatomy and treatment options for the face.  You will have the opportunity to learn by demonstration, consulting and assessing, along with a hands-on approach with close supervision and support.

You will have the option of attending a Supervision Day, should you feel you require extra support whilst injecting.

Following the course, what support will I receive?

Once you have introduced the treatment to your clinics, our team will be happy to offer advice and guidance should you have any questions. We can be contacted by phone or email and we pride ourselves on our customer service.  Your success is our priority!  If you are lacking in confidence following training, let us know and we will invite you back.

Do you offer support with prescriptions for delegates who do not hold a prescribing qualification?

If you are not a Prescriber , we will, where possible, try to put you in touch with a doctor or nurse in your area who can offer a face to face prescribing service for your patients, however, it is the delegates responsibility to arrange all consultations with the prescriber.

FREE observation:  If you feel that you need that additional support or life got in the way immediately after training, with adequate notice, we can book you onto the afternoon of another Foundation Botox training course to watch the procedure being done on our models.  We just ask for a £30 deposit.  This can then go on account towards future training, it will not be refunded.  If you do not turn up for the observation day, without 2 weeks notice, the deposit will be lost.
